Hi guys, just recently join , currently driving an X5 3.0i Sport, had it for over 3 years now and with the new model round the corner think its time for a change.

Im looking for some info on what u guys recocn is the best model on the Cayenne range, my initial thoughts were the 4.5s. Also any tips on what options to look for and any known problems with teh car would be great as well.

cheers chris

Are you looking for new or secondhand? The 4.5S is a great car IMO, and the new 4.8S is an improvement on that. I know some of the guys on the forum have the Turbo, and there's some great deals to be had on nearly new cars, though I've not experienced the car myself.
For what it's worth, extras to look out for:

Definite:
Satnav/PCM

Nice to have:
Sunroof
Bi-zenons
Bose upgrade
Multi-function steering wheel
Phone
19" or 20" wheels
Roof rails

Happy hunting

Peter

[:D]Chris ..... I'd also add to Peters' list, A dark colour ( Basalt Black or Blue), Tiptronic, SatNav, Parking sensors, 20 inch Sport Techno look best (my opinion only), basically the highest spec you can find for the money. Give the Turbo a try ...... it's awsome, there are some good deals out there.

You won't be disapointed.

Have fun!!!!

I would definitely recommend including Air Suspension on the must have list. Air Suspension comes with PASM, is standard spec on the Turbo and is a £2K option on the V6 & Sport.

This gets asked every few weeks - These may help
