Hi, I am looking to buy a 993 C2S and have seen half a dozen or so advertised. I would be grateful for any hints and tips on what to look for and to sort out the best one! I have owned a 996 and an early 70s 911 but my knowledge on the 993 is,at this moment, limited!
Many thanks, in anticipation. Richard

Its probably, in my opinion, the best of the 993's. Only slight downsides are a firm ride, only a problem on bad road surfaces. Tyre noise, and the rears don't last more than 10 to 12 thousand no matter how well you look after them.
Enjoy
Peter

As far as I'm aware, they only made approximately 250 manual RHD C2S models and approximately 600 RHD tiptronic models. So it seems that buying a manual would be the one to go for.
