Can anyone help a newbie to the hobby (?!) and shed some light on where the pricing for a 2002, 54000 mile car, Tiptronic, Satnav in Metallic Blue with black interior should be?

Full Service History, Leather upholstery, ABS, Air conditioning, Alloy wheels, Folding rear seats, Lumbar support, Immobiliser, Passenger airbag, Radio/Cassette, Rear headrests, Rear electric windows, Electric door mirrors, PAS, Heated door mirrors, 3x3 point rear seat belts, Drivers airbag, Front electric windows, Front head restraints, Full size spare wheel, Alarm, Electrically adjustable drivers seat, Electrically adjustable passenger seat, Remote central locking, Trip computer.
I plan to go back and see the car for a test drive next week.
Service book shows regular services at Porsche in Leeds and Sheffield.
Panel gaps look fine and car appears all original complete with hard top and stand.

Your help and guidance is much appreciated!
Thanks

Welcome Stuart!

Sounds like a bit of cutting and pasting from an Autotrader ad, as virtually everything on the list is standard fayre on a 996. SatNav is an option, but being PCM1 is fairly out of date. The mileage is reasonable, and a good colour combination. Value is all down to history and condition, but I would expect low to mid teens for a well-cared for example. My advice would be to get a good PPI done, as there can be a lot of problems lurking which the untrained eye will not see.

Hope all goes well.

thanks Richard for your response!
Do you have any recommendations for a local inspector in Norfolk?
I presume checking for crank and intermediate shaft leaks can only be made with the gearbox and flywheel removed?

A leaking RMS or IMS can be spotted without removing the gearbox. You get a tell-tale drip from where the crankcase meets the gearbox flange.

There is an indy in Norwich who has a good reputation, but I can't for the life of me remember their name at the moment. I'll look it up when I get to my PC tomorrow and post it here.

Top Tip, Richard!...Just spoken to Matt at Autowerke in Norwich and very helpful he is too!
Am still looking for the right car in East Anglia, so if any club members have one for sale, please get in touch?
