Has anybody tried any of these yet ?

Apparently they've been available in the UK for ~ 12 months now & are supposed to be very performance orientated - eg somewhere between Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s & the Pilot Sport Cup. They aren't Porsche "N" rated - so no good for anyone with a Porsche warranty.
My local tyre depot (ProTyre) are recommending them as getting very good reviews from 911 & Ferrari drivers (inc Tim Harvey - ex Porsche Carrera Cup driver)

I've been using Pirelli PZero Corsa tyres for the last 4 years (a few sets [:D]) & really like them - grip is substantially more than the PZero Rosso / Nero, but with the compromise that the life is reduced & the wet grip is slightly less.
They've been usable all year round (unlike Pilot Sport Cups as I understand it) & for the occasional track day, they're brilliant
However (there's always a downside !), they seem almost impossible to buy - last year it took nearly 2 months to find some & this year I'm being told there are non available & there's no date for when they come off back-order.

I'm therefore looking for alternatives.
The Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 is a possible (the Cup is definitely out for all year use).
I thought the new Michelin Pilot Supe Sport would be an alternative, but they don't make them in the correct sizes for a 996.
These Contis appear to be potentially better than than the PS2s.

Any experience out there ?

Hi,
quick question. How many miles does it take before new tyres reach their max grip? Ive just put Michelin all round on my 911 Turbo and the car is a bit unsettled. Done 80 miles on the new tyres.
Thanks.
