Hi and hope someone can help please? I am having trouble getting my soft top to finish it's operation it just wont latch and stop it just latches and in latches and keeps doing this. I can stop it manually but then the windows won't go up as it thinks it's not up. I tested all microswitches in windshield and clam shell all seen to be working. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. New owner and member. Ed997

Hi Ed and welcome to the Forum. I have moved your post to the 997 section where it should get some replies! The original is for forum software and technical issues.
If you bought the car recently was this privately or through a dealer? If the latter I would take it back to get them to look/fix it.

Hi captain. Thanks for that. I got it from a dealer 'The collection' in Buckinghamshire 200 miles away from me. I have mentioned it to him 'charlie' the owner but he is adamant it was ok the morning I picked the car up. They had put the hardtop on for me when I got there. The roof isn't covered by a warranty. I have checked all the frontal microswitches they seem fine so this weekend I'll be checking all in the rear. Not something you expect to have to do on a car from a dealer which sandy cheap. I also discovered they had put exhaust paste on a hair line crack on the manifold. Again a bit poor from such an upmarket seller. Took the shine off it so far. Fingers crossed I sort this roof out.... thanks.... Ed.
Spent all day on it again today. Checked all switches and position sensor behind passenger seat. I have done all I can now an have come to the conclusion that it needs a recalibration. Going to get it booked In with Porsche next week. Good luck with any issues you may have with your porsche.
