Converting the 993's standard headlamps to bi-xenon

Nick - yes we are interested in how! (assuming you have found some clever way to set up a shutter).
Of course what we really want is someone to manufacture an LED headlight kit for the 993[]
Have a look at the Mini Morimoto (Google it).
Somewhat of a pain to fit but worth the effort, especially once I have the aim set properly to maximise their benefit. The light output is in a completely different league from the original units. I have also retained the original high beam bulb to keep the headlamp flash capability when the headlamps are otherwise switched off.
Total cost about £230 plus some skinned knuckles.
I did make some modifications, not least the addition of a ring or large washer to help support the new lens against the old lens aperture. My power units also reside inside the headlamp pods rather than being mounted in the boot area, but otherwise this is basically how it's done. Happy to answer any questions.
