How about a tool thread,
I highly recommend Metrinch socket sets that grip the edges not the corners http://www.metrinch-tools.com/ they have got many a seized nut undone and one socket fits metric and AF as well as whitworth etc. etc.
Any one else recommend other top tools?

I've got a 4 foot long peice of scaffolding pipe. Great for those stubborn siezed or overtightened nuts! (or if used carelessly, great for rounding off those siezed or overtightened nuts). It's come to my rescue many a time though.

The suction tool looks a handy piece of kit though. I guess you would need two - one for dirty oil and one for clean.
 
I got a long breaker bar (about 3 foot) for undoing the rear hub nuts that needed a six foot + scaffold tube to turn it - I was suprised it didn't break as it is made by 'laser' (IIRC) from local motorist discount centre it took the punishment though.

Wait till you try and change the oil gauge sender unit.... squeeze a 24mm spanner into a space made for a 7mm spanner..... Take one 24mm spanner... take one hacksaw..... apply hacksaw to 24mm spanner and heypresto.... you lose the will to live after 45 minute sawing and replace sender unit finger tight till plan B comes along. While you are waiting for plan B to come along, dump 8 litres of motor oil on road in half a mile. Plan B comes along in the form of take engine out for the now neccisary rebuild due to pressure failure where whipping the engine out makes replacement of sender unit a synch.

I got half way to plan B and reverted to plan A but using a shifter (eeek) which I then threw in the bin to preclude any thoughts of using it elsewhere on the car.
