Hi All,
Last year I had the coolant changed and had been driving the car (1999 - 996) with no problems (coolant level remained OK). I unfortunately have had to leave the car standing for the last 5 months and this weekend had a chance to check it over. I found that the coolant had dropped to below 'MIN', but can't find any sign of a potential leak (rads or expansion tank). The only thing I noted is the guy that changed the coolant left the 'coolant bleeder valve' on top of the expansion tank in the upright position (open). With this in the open position, is it possible that the coolant may have evapourated over the 5 months the car has been resting? Any advise would be gratefully appreciated.
Cheers,
Steve
