COOLANT BLEEDING & ENGINE MOUNT

Hi

Boxster almost 10 yrs old now and I think deserves a fluid change all round - coolant, gearbox oil . Could anyone point me to the link where bleeding the cooling system was mentioned. I seem to remember it was a complicated procedure to ensure that all air was explelled . Is it a reasonable DIY proposition ?

By the way had the front engine mount changed. Mechanic (non Porsche) remarked how pleasant it was to work on a car made with such precision - nuts, bolts, fixings all fix cleanly where they should. Well it is a Porsche ! The car and clutch engagment now very much smoother. Should have done it earlier. If anyone is experiencing knocks over bumps, or a "rumbling/ vibration" when turning, the they should consider the front mount.

The car remains a joy to drive as ever !

Just changed my front engine mount. It cured a nasty vibration at 3000 revs as well as the other problems mentioned. Did it myself, not a difficult job just need solid jacking.
