Coolant in oil

Hi guys
Just having a lot of work done to the car and there was an oil leak around the oil cooler housing, just had a look at the dipstick today just to see if there was enough oil in there after the job and I thought I seen the oil a bit murky on the dip stick.
Is it something that I should be worried about that maybe they have not seated the oil cooler seals correctly and coolant is making its way into the oil but cannot see oil in coolant res yet and the engine was not running very long.
BTW car has been standing for a bit.

I'm not sure of the oil cooler layout on 944's but I'd imagine the oil is cooled on it's own separate oil radiator, with totally separate pathways to the coolant (I stand to be corrected lol) so unsure how a misaligned fitting seal can do anything other than cause an external leak.
However, if the car has been stood awhile and the oil in looking suspect........ Change the oil and filter anyway. And get garage to run car upto temperature...... See what happens.
Do you know the history of this car?
Do you know why it has been parked for so long?
Could it have been parked because of a leaking head gasket?

The oil cooler is not a separate rad but built in, the car has been stood as I needed to do work on it after it failed an mot in beginning of Jan and its needed some bits doing.
The garage is trying to fit the work in around a few other things.
I've been waiting on some parts and now it's almost done but have been sweating on this as we are so close to getting her back on the road.
I have had the car since last August and never had an issue with murky oil before this job.
