Coolant?

Hi. Does anybody have any recommendations for coolant for my 924S? I used to use Mobil Advanced Antifreeze but it seems that nobody stocks it anymore.

I've looked into getting VW G12 which is phosphate free but with so many choices/implications with coolant these days wanted to make sure before making the change!

All the best.

It says it's Possible to mix it with any other antifreeze whatever the Colour..I always thought that was not a good thing to do?
Forgive my ignorance what's "Redline water wetter" ?

Halfords Premium grade (ie not the cheap one) called "Advanced Protection" antifreeze . It is OEM approved for Merc BMW MAN Ford etc . . . I use it in my race and road cars (except the RS [:D]).

The Redline water wetter seems more effective without antifreeze, but still worked for me with it in (lowered by 5 dec C in a Lotus prone to overheating) - it is a surfactant - lowers surface tension to ensure the coolant gets into the nooks and crannies of the cooling system and removes any slight oil film from inner cooling surfaces, but Glycol also does that, so effect is not so great with antifreeze.
