Cooling Ducts

911sse

New member
Has anyone installed cooling ducts into their car for the front brakes?

I have warped the new front disks on mine, not badly, but prevention
is better than the cure.

Knockhill was worth it though......... Who said it was a bad track for 3.2 Carrera's...

Any comments appreciated...........

Were the discs Zimermann or Porsche........... for a road car Zimermann are fine, but they are just not up to race / trackday use. This is one component where the genuine parts really are worth the difference in price.

ps....... at the risk of being "corrected" by other members, have you already removed the brake backing plates ?

pps........ and Knockhill is a good track for 911's, once you have the right amount of confidence

Well the Zimmerman's are coming off, being skimmed and put to one side.

It's going to be OEM disks with pagid blue pads for the europe : ring/hockenheim/spa & reims GobStopper Rally.................

Try cooling ducts from AJR ( Alan Johnson Racing) USA
They fit onto the front A arms and are not expensive.
I'm using Performance friction 97 compound pads and they are the dogs....
Nice to meet you at the Dyno day

Mike ( white 3.2 )
