Correct fitment of front sill guard...

Could someone help me out by posting a photo or link to a photo of a correctly fitted front sill guard, please? I'm particularly interested in how it sits within the front wheel arch. Does it sit flush with the wheel liner or does it overlap the metal of the wheel arch. I remain unconvinced that the ones on my car are fitted correctly.

Many thanks!

Can you post a picture of yours? Not sure what you mean by front sill guard? Do you mean the side skirts fitted to Turbo and S2? Best way you can fit them is to remove them completely [:)]

Precisely that [:)] Porsche call them a "sill cover" part number 951 559 193 00 in the PET.

I have heard the arguments regarding having them fitted / not fitted and whether they encourage or discourage rust on the sills. I require them to be fitted on my car. I am just unsure as to whether the front ones are fitted correctly in the wheel arch.

Hope this helps

Superb. Thank you!

Mine are plainly fitted incorrectly, then, in that the plastic is bent up and over the edge of the wheel arch metal-work.
