I am going to have to sit my 02 C4S up for a bit whilst I secure my future oil supply in the middle east..... Why do the discs seem so susceptable to corrode after washing or when left to stand when garaged. Does anyone know of any top tips to prevent this and whilst I'm at it any other tips on storage, optimiser is already purchased.....

Cheers

Thanks for that. It doesn't go with out saying, but I do go for a spin to warm and clear the brakes of water after washing prior to parking it up but the discs seem very prone to seizing to the pads (hand brake not applied). I haven't found other cars MR 2's etc so prone to this, is it a porsche problem or am I becoming finnicky???

This is what concerns me about leaving it garaged for 6 months, top tip on the CSP spray Richard, thanks,

Matt
