corrosion on carrera wheels

New member
Finished polishing the wheels and noticed an area of bubbling on one of the wheel.

Dropped into the OPC and they have taken some photos and say Porsche may change the wheel or repair it.

Anyone else had this problem ? If so what action did they take in your case ?

Car is still under warrenty and would prefer a new wheel !!!

Have the same problem on an 18" Sport Design wheel - at the service last week the OPC took digital photos and sent them off to Reading, looks like corrosion under the protective film.
However given now that the car has caught fire and looks a total loss, I guess I won't know if they'll change it!
