We have had an invite from one of our members Lee Jones who as started a new business in new and used parts, to visit there premises on the 25th of September 2012 ( club night ).
We could meet at the Chateau at 7pm for a 7.15 start for a nice leisurely drive on a beautiful September evening down to there premises where they will provide refreshments etc .

An idea of numbers would be good.

We would love to invite your region to visit us at Cotswold Porsche Specialists on your club night on September 25th. We thought you could arrange to meet at a central location (Chateau Impney or if there is somewhere better to save time?). Then enjoy a leisurely drive through the winding lanes of Worcestershire, hopefully on an Indian Summer evening , to our unit in Toddington. We'll put on refreshments (an idea of numbers would be good) and then show you what we do. As an aside, we won't be pushing sales if anyone raises this as a concern, Of course if someone should want to buy anything they can!

Hi All,

I will plan a route from the Chateau and we can discuss it on Tuesday.

Can we set off at 7pm to have a reasonable run and get there in daylight ?

You may have to keep up with my Cavalier. I took my water pump off to replace it and a stud has sheared. So far, two days effort has not got it out.

John

I am in London that day, so I might have to go straight to Cotswold Porsche Specialists rather than via the Chateau.
Are these the correct people?

You must try harder John! - a bit more elbow grease is required....

As Lynsey said we look forward to hosting you. Both Lynsey and I are Porsche enthusiasts and own a 964, 924S and a Boxster - so we cover all bases!

As you'll see on the night, the business is quite young and we only took on these premises at the start of the year. Its a lovely setting, in front of Damian Hurst's Toddington Manor. Great for us - but not so good for him.

John Lord (master of routes) has kindly offered to propose one for us to follow. I did suggest trying to travel around Bredon Hill (clockwise), but the sunset time is against us (just before 7pm at the end of September). Perhaps an earlier start may be in order?

If people wish to travel directly, the address in the previous thread is correct. Arrive any time after 7.30 (assuming we leave Droitwich at 7pm). There is plenty of space to park.

We will put on few nibbles, which may even extend to a BBQ if health and safety / weather permits.

I'm afraid I'll be on Holiday when you meet in August, but look forward to seeing you in September.

Hi everybody,

In my Report, after discussion with others, I/we haqve suggested meeting at the Chateau at 6.30pm.
