I had no intention of taking Mrs Mas and two small kids and was going to invite a 'regular' friend or Porsche Enthusiast to this but Mrs Mas has now made representations [;)]

Do people take small children on the event , it seems a little impractical to me ?

Regards Mas

Absolutely. This is designed to be a family day out, a nice drive in the country followed by a picnic. Porsche and Polo will be the same. Kids, dogs, anyone welcome!

We're hoping to bring the baby with us - Diane has tried sitting in the back of the car so the baby seat can go on the front seat. She's just worried about the reduced room for shopping.

That's great to hear, you have put my mind at rest.

I can feel a test drive out with the family squeeeeezed in the 944 coming on :p

Hope to see you both on the day.

Regards Mas

I have done four up in the 944 twice, once with me in the back and once in the passenger seat. Personally as a 6ft 4 bloke I didn't enjoy either and I wouldn't want to go far like that!

Im intending to take the 944 plus the 'support vehicle' ( a T5 estate) to some events this year but I think I would look a wally with no passenger in the 944 and being followed by a family in a Volvo [:)]

Mas

Asolutely a family event, in fact there is often a family 'award' [:)]

944's have been our only cars for the past 12 years and our 'children' are now 20 and 17 so it's virtually the only car they've ever grown up with (luckily only one of us has hit the 6 foot mark so far)

Mas

I took my 12 year old son last year and he loved it - absolutely chuffed to be chief navigator... The rally sign is on his wall and will have a matching one soon as we are going again this year.

See you there!

Just thought I'd add that on reflection Mrs Mas does not want to spend the day in a 944 with two very young children and TBH love 'em as I do I can see her point [;)]

I did finally snaffle my cancelation place and am very much looking foreward to the day but will be bringing a grown up non Porsche friend.

Top rally tip, don't follow n.o.18 he may be lost [:D]
