Hi Paul.
I got your entry and the 924 Register is looking strong. Present state of play is 64 entries booked out of 100 maximum.

It's May 8th. Attendees from last year should have had their 'advance' application forms through the post a couple of weeks ago, unless Geoff was singling me out for preferential treatment [:D] - although the form didn't have the date on it either if I remember rightly.

Anyway, I'll be there in the 924 for the 3rd year running - always a good day!

When is it Geoff, post the date so people know i sure we can drum up trade

It has been in Porsche Post. The date is Sunday 8th May. First cars leave Cornbury House at 9:30 last ones away by 11am. Cost is ÂŁ30 per car and includes Rally Plate for your car, enamel lapel badge, windscree sticker, packed picnic for 2 people and entrance to the Cotswold Wildlife Park (halfway stopping point) there are pizes for various things including Team Prize and this has been won by your Register twice, 2002 & 2003.
Entry forms and regulations can be obtained by sending me a SAE at

How about a personal prize.
If you enter and are insured with Carole Nash Insurance (car or bike) bring a copy of each certificate with you and you will be entered into a free draw for this Gents Cronograph watch.

I thought I saw quite a number of 924s there; certainly have pictures of a few. Personally I must confess I was more disappointed at the lack of 356s [&o]

Yeah Dan, I noticed three white S's including mine, plus a grey one (yours?) and a black one at least... I have two so maybe I should've tried to bring them both to bring up the numbers [:D]

They were in Belgium at the 356 International. I have 7 letters from 356 owners regretting their inability to attend.

As for who won it Paul. If you had been their you would have known.
911SC.

I know, but it was a shame all the same.

Yep the grey one was mine (didn't see another anyway). I might have some pics of your car actually Alan, if you were one of the White Ss. Might get round to putting some online at the weekend...

Thanks to Geoff for once again organising an excellent event and very enjoyable route.

I shall be brave enough to venture a reply.
Errr what rally - possibly not quite the response expected. But I do intend to bring the bolide out to play - now I have it.
Even Frontrunner is my diary so some work person does not steal that weekend.

Lets go and leak water over everybody. Water sports for all!!
