Anyone with an early 911 going on this? Its always a poor showing for the early 911`s, plenty of 356`s and 914`s.

Last year we won the best register award.

It was a one off...[;)]

Seriously, this is one of the events that attracts the real enthusiasts. Let's get some more of the older cars out. I'm pushing like mad to get the 944 guys to come along. [:)]

Found link now and have asked geoff for an application form so places allowing some of the R4 members will be their

I did notice you were making a serious effort to muster the 944 boys.

Agree it's an ideal event for the older cars. Having not attended before I'm really looking forward to it.

Ian.

There is a satisfying number of Early 911's booked so far. This is as it should be as the event was originally the 'Heritage Group Cotswold Rally' and that refered to the now defunct Heritage group of older models not the current sponsor.

Best Register is based number attending into Age / rarety of model and it's user friendliness. For instance it would need a great many Boxsters to equal 1 early 911 or 914.

Go for it lads and lasses.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the Cotswold Rally all about? Is it just for PCGB.

Yep, it's one of the most popular of the many events over the year and always sells out fast. It's a mapped route, about a 2 hour drive, with a lunch stop halfway, through some of the most beautiful Cotswold roads.

Yes it is for members only. Two reasons
(1) It is held under an MSA licence that requires entrants to be members [:-]
(2 It is always a sellout so it's fist come first served and an advantage of membership.[:)]

Entry figures now in the 'Members Only' pages

More Early 911's than 996's or 997's or Cayman or 964 nearly as many as Boxsters or 993's.
A superb effort.
