Coulthard Visit and Spanish GP Sun 9th May

David Coulthard Museum and Spanish GP
The date is Sunday 9th May.
The GP starts at 1pm, Race programme starts at midday.
We would aim to be at the museum for around 11.30am, which will mean a departure from glasgow no later than 9am. (Details of the route to follow)
The cost is £15.00 per person which includes entrance to the museum, brunch before the race, all teas and coffees and cream tea after the race.
I have reserved spaces for 15 people on a first come basis, so please email to confirm your space asap as we may not be able to add extra people on last minute.

details are as follows,

Hi all,

just details for this Sunday,

We are aiming to arrive at the museum around 11am, (F1 programme starts at midday with the race at 1pm)

We have Brunch - fry up - entrance - plus afternoon cream tea - for £15/head.

Meeting point is Strathclyde park, at the Holiday Inn Express Carpark for 9am , depart by 9.10am (the post code is ML1 3RB for those coming with sat nav or take Juntion 5 from the M74 and the Inn is at the entrance to the park)

Route being planned is M74 South until the A71 Junction, Then take the A71 towards Strathaven and Galston - In Galston we will take the A719 towards Ayr (by Pass) Then a short run on the A77 and onto the A713 all the way to Castle Douglas and then right onto the A75 toward Twynholm.

The route is 110 miles each way, (Tom Tom say 2hours 30 minutes) - there are Specs Cameras on the A77 stretch of the road !

Forecast at moment is dry/sunny/cloudy, (Fingers Crossed) !

You have mail "¦ just found out I get my car back on Saturday, so I'm in!

I've even arranged a dogsitter so that I don't need to worry about stopping to clean up after a carsick mutt.

Big thanks to the twenty race fans that made the trip to coulthard museum today !

fab breakfast and excellent race, (shame for MB Hamilton who cant finish a race) scones were fab,

I would imgaine photos will be posted up here and on facebook !
