Courtesy Cars

My OPC has a collection/delivery truck, 3-series BMW courtesy cars, or a driver will drop me within 30 miles. So no complaints.
Of course, if I had just bought a new car that suffered a major failure, I'd expect something decent whilst mine was off the road.

However, as i am still paying for 'a Porsche' should I not be given one to drive? I was hoping for a 997 Carrera 4S[][]
I suspect i will get a VW Golf or something of that ilk. It just seems odd that a car dealer is using 'rivals' vehicles instead of their own. I know that Porsche own 20% of VW though
I wasn't too happy with the work done at my last visit, so after complaining to the Dealer Principal (whom I know) they took my car in for 3 days (did need the 3 days) and gave me a 997 C2 Cabriolet in exchange...my insurance (First Alternative back then) would not insure me for this car as it was a higher insurance group than my Boxster S; guess what? the OPC insured me on their policy! The Dealer Principal had had some serious words with the service team...
I think Porsche cars are available at all OPCs but are reserved for the so called "selected" customers...

Surely it makes good business practice to loan cars of the same brand to interest your customers in "upgrading"..

Always been given a VW Golf... and when I return it I alway make a point of telling them how fast the car is compared to mine but the engine sounds a bit noisy at the same speeds [] .
