Cracked Ash Tray Cradle

Yes really, I apologise now.

But I notice that it's only two screws and if a new one were available, I'd replace it.

Is it an OPC order or does anybody have one ? I guess it will be standard 964 ....

Thankyou !

Chris

I ordered one of these from an OPC last year.

iirc it was about £20 including the ashtray insert (just need to bolt on the front bit from your old one.)
I'll dig out the invoice for a prop. price if you want?

Rob

Yes please, I had a look at the dash diagrams for the '92 964 at my OPC yesterday and it was not at all clear what the part was.

The poor alternative would be araldite ...

Well, I've tried Araldite and it's just cracked off teh flexible runners.

I've got the diagrams from my OPC which should show the Ashtray, but the ashtray looks different and it has no cradle with the flexible runners.

My next plan is to take the cradle itself down to the OPC ... unless anybody has a part number ?

Chris

Part no. 911.552.101.00 - Ashtray.
Comes with the actual ashtray as well but not the screw-on front bit of trim.

Cost - £19.95 + vat after the club dicount (which I don't have to ask for at OPC nottingham) Bought mine last march.

Rob

Rob, thankyou.

Not worth messing around with the glue !

Chris W.

P.S. And sorted, fitted today. £24 inc Vat.
