Crank pulley oil seal.

Hello,

My car leaks oil from the pulley wheel. So how bigger job is it to fix? Do you need any special tools? Where's the best place to get the parts from?

Many thanks.

Andy P says it's possible but a bit of a faff to do especially by yourself...

Main thing is 'locking up the engine' so you can undo the knut, he also suggested getting a Viton seal rather than the one in the kit which are of dubious quality.

Feel free to give him a ring if you want the lowdown, his number is in PP under 912 Register Tech.

So as not to keep phoneing him can I ask Gav this seal is it the one in the kit from Classic and speed parts cos I thought they were the best kits to get unlike other kits available that are well err well crap!

They are not cheap the CSP I paid $180 but Duane says they are the kits he uses and they have EVERY part you need in them unlike the others.
