I was driving my 993 to Blackford for a job interview last Friday. I got there a bit early so wandered up to Crieff to kill time. When I travelled back the sun was just setting. As it has been raining shortly before the road was reflecting the sun making it very difficult to see anything.
I got to the turn for Blackford and could see very little at all of the oncoming traffic. After a few minutes using the sun visor and my hand to shield the worst of the sun I felt I could see enough of the road - I was wrong. As I pulled out a Mundaneo came flying round the corner and hit the front of my car sending him into a spin.
Luckily he didn't hit anything else and was okay and so was I. It could have been SO much worse. The 993 isn't too bad (needs new lights and bumper and splitter) but the Mondeo looked pretty bad.
Big thanks to Douglas Smith who stopped and checked I was okay. He told me he was a 993 owner also.
So the moral of the story is that any dual carriageway with traffic crossing it can be lethal. Be careful!

PS the interview was postponed to this week so I may get that anyway.
