[FONT=verdana, geneva"]Hi all,[FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=verdana, geneva"]I am after a mobile techician to come and help me with my 996 turbo. it has developed a creaking dash. which is driving me round the bend. i have spoken to the OPC in chiswick who service my car and have said that it is not covered by the extended warranty and could take up to 8 hours or more to diagnose and fix (he said 'repack dash'). and at porsche rates would be an arm an a leg. i have my own workshops. at www.surreycarradio.com where the mechanic could come and work on it.[FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=verdana, geneva"]any help or phone numbers in the surrey/middlesex or surrounding areas. would be of great help and appreciation, cheers Phil [FONT=verdana, geneva"]

I have the same problem and I did try to find a way to solve it, but in the end I decided to learn to leave with it.
I thought that I could spend a lot of money, the problem probably would not be solved for ever and somebody would have fiddled with the car.
Think about it.... but if you do go ahead with repairs please let me know the outcome.
Cheers
