Creaking front end

My 986 sounds a bit like a wooden sailing ship at low speed around town. Creaking during steering and also if you bounce the front wings up and down. It just passed an MOT test with no issues, so there's nothing unsafe, It's just annoying.
Has anyone experienced this? And more importantly what's required in order to fix it?

I had this problem a few years ago, its quite common in dry climates, apparently . it's caused by the inside of the rubbers on the coffin and control arms drying out, hence when the rub together when turning they creak. I cured it by injecting rubber dressing with a white syringe needle. seal the hole with a bit of silicone.Bosh cured Instantly.

Car is garaged when not in use, and only driven in good weather, so sounds like a probable cause. Worth giving this a try.

At the risk of appearing thick. When you say rubber dressing, do you mean the type used for car valeting on rubber exterior trim?
I'm new to the forum so will apologise for my inexperience.

It does sound like one of your grannies remedies, doesn't it. And I'm trying to think where I found out about it, I think it was in the 101 projects for your boxster book. But you are correct I used a Poorboys tyre dressing to be precise. The object is to lubricate the rubbing surfaces of the rubber. Good luck with it.
