Creaking noise going over speed bumps etc - worse after rain/washing (vid inside)

Hi folks,

Just as the topic title really. Had an annoying creak/groan noise from the front end for about a year but getting louder and seems to be worst after washing the car or heavy rain.

I've recorded the noise on this video clip ...

My non-techy mind thinks water has got into a bush somewhere, maybe an ARB, drop link, wishbone etc but not sure so wanted to know if anyone else could pinpoint the noise with an "aha- Ive had that issue!" :)

Thanks

Rikki

Sounds like the lower control arms (coffin arms )
Drop links tend to knock rather than creak and groan.

Funny mine did that for about 3 months but noise just went away! no problems for 10 months now.....

There is a very similar thread over on piston heads right now m8.
I had the same and had it sorted under warranty. It's a bush but I can't remember which one!! It's on PH thou

If the lower control arms are failing will this cause the camber to get out of specification?

I get a similar noise from my Cayman when it has been raining.
