Creaky Drivers Seat?

My 992 C2 has developed a VERY annoying loud creak down by my right hip when accelerating, going round a corner and over any bumps at all. It has just been into Bristol OPC for a few bits (to sort out Porsche Connect STILL not working, a rattly speaker cover and replace a TPM sensor) but they cannot replicate the squeak and say there is nothing to fix. Has anyone else had this? I'm a heavy guy, 6'3" and over 110kg, the seat is low, reclined and almost touching the back seats. Perhaps they need taller, heavier technicians?

Any suggestions or pointers welcome.

Well Jack in the workshop there is about 6'3, so it's clearly not a long/tall issue. [;)]
Weight? That's another matter. [8|] :ROFLMAO:

Have you tried inserting a flat piece of plastic or board between the seat and the transmission tunnel and does this alter the sound or decrease the creak?
If so, you need to think above covering that section of the tunnel with protection film to act as a barrier between the 2 leather surfaces.
Regards,

Clive

Offer to take out the technician to demonstrate the issue. I've resorted to that in the past...

Had similar with the GT4 buckets after a recent MoT, improved ... by running it through the height and fore - aft settings a few times

thank you, I will try all those things.
ps Porsche Bristol are being very helpful so no criticism there (currently!)

have similar issue with my Targa. I’m 92kg. Can solve by raising seat a little, but would prefer lower position. As you say it occurs on acceleration and corners. Feels to me it’s in the rear lumber region. Have 14 way sports seats (not plus)

So it has been resolved, thankfully! I'm told the service engineer couldn't replicate the problem but even so had a look at the plastic casings down by the seat belt mountings and had a fiddle around and hey presto nice and silent from then on. Defo take to your local dealer, it's a warranty covered issue (as was the rattly speaker housing and the TPM sensor failure error - sadly my Porsche Connect still won't connect!)
