creaky steering

hi all, my 2010 Cayman, which I've had for a few weeks, now that the weather is hot,,has developed a creak when manoeuvring at low speed after a run.
i understand that this is fairly common, but is this something my porsche warranty will cover, or should I go back to Swindon where I bought it, or is it something not to be concerned about?

cheers

Hi Steve, Always difficult to trace the source of suspension squeaks and creaks but it could be that the noise is coming from the bearing at the top of one of the front struts. Perhaps it has dried out in the hot weather..! It would be worth speaking to Swindon PC since your car's under the extended warranty - I'd expect such a problem to be covered. Most likely nothing to worry about. Jeff
