Hi everyone

Here is some additional information for the weekend.

For those of you paticipating on the stand:

1. The circuit is open on both days from 6.00 am due to the amount of overall vehicles that need displaying. Therefore we have been asked by the organisers where possible to be parked up before the start of the first race which is at 9.30 am on the Saturday.

Unfortunately due to work commitments I have already explained to them that my car will not be on the stand on Saturday until approx lunchtime. Maurice seems ok with this as long as the majority of the cars are on stand by this time.

Greg and Ash have kindly offered to organise the formation of the cars in my absence.

2. Please make sure that your pass can be seen clearly by the marshalls on your way into the circuit.

3. A space has been earmarked for us on the grass area by the embankment where our gazebo and signage will be clearly seen. If in doubt please ask a marshall for directions.

4. If you are taking part in the Sunday parade lap(s) please sign the insurance form which will be brought around by the Nostalgia organiser Maurice who has specified "no silly nonsense around the track".

Non-stand participants

1. Tickets for the Saturday are ÂŁ12 and Sunday ÂŁ15

Any queries please get in touch. Many thanks.

Simon and Mags

I don't think i will be able to make 9:30am but i will try to be there as early as possible.

Cheer [:)]

Unfortunately due to a sudden bereavement and then a holiday I did not get the form in on time and therefore have not got a ticket for this event.
I would have liked to support the club on the stand but still hope to be there on the Sunday.

I've just bought my ticket for Sunday. My car is not 20 until next year, so I wouldn't have been able to display it anyway.

Hi everyone

An update from the organiser Maurice. Those of you taking part on the stand and who want to take part in the parade lap can you please see me on the Sunday morning to make sure you sign the disclaimer.

The form needs to signed and cars ready by 9.15 am on the Sunday morning.

Cheers

Simon and Mags

Is anyone driving down from the Tynedale/Nothumberland/Newcastle area in convoy ? [:D]

Cheers

Paul, I'll be leaving at 7ish & heading over the A68. The club stand needs to be set up by 9.15am.

Many thanks to Simon and Mags for organising a superb outing, even the weather could not dampen the spirit shown by R3 members who networked tirelessly all weekend with the dozens of guests who visited the PCGB gazebo. Granted some may, on Saturday, have only popped in to get out of the rain but non left without a plug for the club, a flyer for Raby or just some good old northern hospitalty.
Some of our existing club guys who haven't been involved with the club for a while despite keeping up their membership expressed how driven and enthusiastic everyone was on the club stand, and how maybe it was time to give the club nights a visit again or participate in some of our future events.
Graham excelled as the fountain of all things Porsche and with his knowledege was able to answer and advise lots of visitors on any technical questions.
Thanks to all who chipped in with setting up & dismantling the gazebo, and to those who brought along their cars to display over the two days, a true team effort made for a great weekend.
Look forward to our next outing regardless of the weather. We've had a fantastic weekend with some good friends and I think we all made some new ones and hope to see them all again soon.

Greg & Deb.

P.S. Thanks to Moira & Mags for outshining Mr Kipling with their superb cakes

Hi All,

Just a short message to thank everyone for making Edward and myself so welcome yesterday, not to mention the cakes, ok I will, they were fantastic! We're already looking forward to seeing you all again at Raby.

Cheers,
Paul

Hi everyone we would like to echo everything Greg and Debs have said, there certainly was a fantastic team effort and spirit shown over the whole weekend. A major thankyou to Greg for organising the delivery and collection of the gazebo as without it the weekend would have been very different. Also we have received an email from the organiser, Maurice, thanking the club for our support and help saying he had recieved alot of positive comments.

Lets all take the current momentum within the club to Raby Castle and make it bigger and better than ever before (please let there be sunshine)

See you all soon after I've come back from BBQ school !!! [:D]

Simon and Mags

Thanks Simon
It was a grand weekend Moira and I thoroughly enjoyed it even the crack on the Saturday in the rain
Also a big thanks to Greg&Deb for the BBQ
Roll on next year

Simon
Mags & Moira did a cake each you have to get there early to taste them because they don't last long with the gannets we have around

ORIGINAL: ExAudiSi What were the cakes that I keep seeing mentioned?

Did I miss something?

hi all... what did you think of the parade laps... they were a bit hectic for us to sort out (400 cars) but do you think they make a difference on your day...
do you think they give you the bug to do a trackday were you are not limited to a speed...
