The date for this visit is 9th October

If you are interested please e-mail me and I'll update you as we go. Let me know numbers in your party for now. It's far easier to keep all the records and send out info if I have e-mail addresses so I'd prefer that.

Current list is as follows. If you're going but not on the list then you haven't told me, so please do so. I'll update this list as more names are added. Updated on 5th October.

Apologies if you're, somewhat impersonally, known as "plus 1". I don't know everyones names yet....

Hi every one,
Phil has managed to get agreement from Bentley that they will happily provide lunch prior to our planned visit to Buxted in October. He has a suggested two-course menu with tea/coffee offer together with cost which is very reasonable. I am leaving it for Phil to bring everyone up to speed on his return from holiday. The purpose of this message is to let everyone know that the trip is very much on, and ask that you all come to the September meeting with your booking, and please bring a cheque book or cash to pay the small amount of money that will be required so that we can deal via PCGB for payment.
Best regards, JJ [:)]

Here's the latest position.

Arrive at Bentley around 12:00 onwards for 12:30pm lunch. Lasagne with Salad or a vegetarian option, plus dessert and Tea/coffee. £8.00 per head. Kids options at £3.50 (hot) or £3.00 (sandwiches) ***

Leave about 2:15 to convoy to Buxted and start tour of C&G at 2:30pm.

Cheques (to PCGB) or cash to secure a place. Bring payment to tomorrow nights pub meet if you can. Hopefully I'll have a copy of the menu by then.

e-mail to philip.edwards@fsmail.net or call 01825 760008 to add your name to the list (see top of thread)

*** If you do want to bring children please speak to me first as the tour is NOT suitable for very young ones. The factory is not like the RR one at Goodwood or BMW's Mini plant in Oxford - it is a long established factory that's evolved in various outbuildings over many years. Consequently it is a bit of a jumble in places with plenty of opportunity for young ones to trip over, touch something very valuable or very oily ! I'd suggest no-one younger than 10 years old, please ***

everyone on my list should have received an e-mail. If you haven't call or e-mail.

We'll be at The Laughing Fish, Isfield. Meet from 12:00 for 12:30 sit down.

Phil
