hi,

for those without cruise, has anyone retro fitted from a car that does/ checked the wiring is already in place?

was thinging of trying this in mine

Hi Steve. Wiring should be there. You will need the cc motor which lives in the bulkhead behind the OS strut turret and will also need a new column stalk as the cc one has a 3rd lever. There will be other bits needed as well.

I have the full set of parts for cruise but no wiring loom, so a loom is going to get made eventually

Switch gear for the steering wheel, if you can't find second new is £300
Brake switch
Clutch switch
Stepper motor
Two new throttle cables plus linkages
ECU
and the short loom from the steering column to the cars loom, you might have to make that
And be brave enough to switch it on, some of the old ECU have duff capacitors and they make the car just keep accelerating till you hit the rev limiter
