Cruise control retro fitting

Timely request, as it happens. Porsche have released retro fitting of cruise control in the last couple of days. Price will probably be in the £500-600 range but unlike the 997 retro fit is spec dependent. So a quick call to your dealer with the chassis number should answer the question.

]One new thing with Cruise Control on the 981 (same as 991) when it's selected on it displays the desired, or set speed under the active "speedo" symbol in the TFT display, so you can compare with your current speed and it wil speed up or slow down until that value has been achieved.

Do you have any details about cruise retrofit for the 991 because I asked about it at OPC Hatfield today and they said it was not available. I indicated that I had read on the PCGB Forum that it had recently been released but they were not aware of it.
Is there a specific Porsche bulletin or similar that I can direct them to?

I had cruise control retro fitted to my Spyder before heading off to the LeMans classic last summer.
After this I suffered various problems with my fuel gauge and the car had to go back in to the OPC a few times. We finally discovered that my car was built with the (rare) optional long range fuel tank although this never made it on to the spec sheet.
All is good now although to adhere to the lightweight philosophy of the Spyder marketing team I now need to put 10 fewer litres if fuel in when filling up.

My car went in for retrofit cruise control yesterday, they have fitted the column switch but had coding issues and are awaiting further instructions from Germany before they can make it operational.
I also asked them to resolve a rattle which appeared to be coming from the dash on the nearside. They have diagnosed it as a noisy top suspension mount - surprising on a 2500 mile car. Apparently it's the second one they have had the problem with.
