CS Wheel Colours

Am I right in reading that the CS had colour coded wheels to that of the body (black being the exception with silver wheels)?

You might find what you're asking here :

Perfect - says it all. Thanks Chris. What to do... colour code the wheels (gaurds red) or not... hmmm

Seen on the 968 site and also googled quite a few but need to look further for a gaurds red version and get some ideas from that. Did the Sport come with the side decals a la CS too or was that an option?

This the only one so far taken on the mobile. Picked it up Saturday. More pics later. Doing the usual list of items to be attended to - all very small so far.

Had a look at your new 'recreation' project Andrew at Daytona a while back - nice. What made you go for a 'mixed build'?

I believe the following combinations were available for the CS:
White/Red
Yellow/Yellow
Blue/Blue
Red/Silver
Black/Silver
As far as decals for the Sport go - pass.

Very nice. I wouldn't mind a nice 968 at some stage. Where did you find this one? Only project I have had with Dave was the 930. Is that what you are referring too?

Seen some blue on blue and quite often the yellow on yellow both of which look good. Not seen a red on red yet and not sure on the final look. Will take a side on pic and play with it in Photoshop to see...

Andrew, went to see the Group C 962 that is for sale at RPM Technik (@ 5 miles from me) and spotted the 968 - more or less decided there and then. Always fancied one and their track reputation is clearly there. Greig and Mark there talked me in to it...! it wasn't difficult. Yes the 930 project I saw at Dave's - finished? What are you doing with it?

I read now that colour coded wheels were actually an option (for some reason I thought it wasn't). The side 'Club Sport' decal too was an option list... I'll probably stick with the silver Cup 2's, although I do have a set of grey ones and may try those (need to check the sizes)...
