I don't know if anyone's looking, but this looks like a bargain...

Matt

(nothing to do with me BTW)

I just get calls on almost a weekly basis from people shouting at me saying the parts they have brought from me via ebay have either not turned up, or are completely wrong or are faulty.. It takes me a while to explain that there is no Darren or Darran working here and that we dont sell parts on ebay!

You see this person used to call and email me for technical advice on his 924 turbo. I USED to sell used parts from 924's from time to time also up until a couple of years ago... So this chap decided to set himself up in a cottage industry breaking up 924's and 944's calling himself 9XX-Parts, so people buy from him on ebay thinking they have the reasurance of dealing with us, when in fact its a ****** (gosh that got through the checker [;)] -John) in Hull who is trading off of one of our business names. Its getting very close to involving solicitors against him.

Just a couple of weeks ago, someone phoned to say that the club sport steering wheel they had brought from him wasnt original and was somehow not as it looked in the photo.

This is probably a totally different person, but if its the same person, steer clear.

I'd have thought the trainers would be enough to warn anybody off.

Am I right in thinking the all CS steering wheels are not the same and therefor may not fit a 944?

It does look damaged or dirty at the top, or it could be some fungal growth spreading from the trainers [:'(]
Tony

No idea if the seller is the stalwart gentleman that Jon knows, but I thought the wheel looked a bit scruffy in that image too.

I read the ad as :-
1. Club Sport Wheel
2. Gaitor - 3 months old in mint condition

although you could interpret the add as both items only 3 months old...... [&:]

He's also advertising the cup 2 wheels that he "sold" on ebay last month - same dodgy spelling, same pictures.

One to avoid

OOops..

Did I put a swear word where it now has ***** ???

Sorry... Just the thought of this person makes me loose control.
