Cumbria International Motor Show 20th May 2018
The 7th Cumbria International Motor Show 2018 is the largest car show in the North West, returning once again to the Westmorland Showground at Crooklands near Kendal. Last year we had a fantastic turn out from R3 members wanting to join R18 and the other participating Regions coming together for this show, taking the count on the day to just over 130 Porsches in the dedicated Porsche only parking area.
Like last year, the Cornbury House team will be bringing along the large marquee and lots of goodies from the Club shop. Porsche Reading is also bringing their large Mobile Display Unit and Porsche Centre Kendal will be displaying some of their latest cars and will be providing refreshments. There will also be display by Road & Race Restoration, 9-Apart and Reep body care.
Members from Scotland, North East and Yorkshire Region will be once again joining together for what promises to be another fabulous event in this beautiful part of the country. It’s a real family day out with plenty to see and do throughout the day.
The price of the entry is only £5 per car, with a passenger, and must be registered in advance. Register via ESPCC here and in the comments section please write PCGB.
Please ignore the warning message that "car registration is now full". The Porsche Club space has been reserved in advance. Club members have until Wednesday, 2nd May to book tickets with display parking.
Final instructions and passes will be sent out prior to this event and must be displayed on your windscreen on arrival. You must be at the show ground for 10am and there is no 'movement till 4 45pm.
We had a great drive to and from this event last year and will once again organising two meeting points for those wishing to participate from the North & South of our Region.
I intend to use Hexham BP services as our Northern meeting point once again at 7.45am leaving at 8.00am.
We will be looking for a volunteer to organise the Southern group maybe on the A66 again like last year, any takers?
So if you wish to join us for another great early drive via Hartside please add your name to this thread.
ESPCC have specified that there will be NO pay on the day admissions, all cars MUST be pre-booked.
