Cup 1 costs

Have decided that rather than put some new tyres on the very good set of Design 90s I bought, I may treat myself to some 16 inch Cup 1s. I plan on selling the D90s so will recoup some of the costs but wondered how much I need to budget for a set of Cup 1s with tyres before I start hunting?

Would hate to find the perfect set and they be way more than I was expecting :(

I paid £300 last month for a set of OE cup 1's (16") with brand new pirelli p6000's, they are in excellent cond with no kerbing.

They don't seem to be as in demand as 17's though, for that reason they don't have the same premium.
As for your D90's,they seem to fluctuate between £150-£300 depending on condition. I sold my spare set for £275(VGC)

I need to fit the cups tomorrow, thanks for reminding me! If you like I'll post a photo on this thread so you can see what they look like on a red car

Yes please pics would be nice! £300 seems a bargain, eBay special? I've spoken to a well known Porsche spares supplier and been quoted £600 with tyres (good but not new tyres).

hiya mate, what sort of nick are your design 90s in? as i will be having mine re-furbed in the new year [ actually there not to bad but almost complete respray as made them seem worse then they are] but would be interested in your d90s, what price would you be looking for? please let us know regards jason p

Cos they dont look as good as 17`s on a car.

thats your opinion.
Personally I prefer 16's, & they ride better ( I've had 18's & 17's , I prefer 16's)

What sort of price do 17" original cup 1's go for now?

Rich

You can almost name your price for the 17's if you have a couple of buyers interested [8D] £7-800 is not unheard of in recent times

Triple that for the 964RS magnesium version []
