Cup 1 wheel question

What's the going rate for a set of 4 Cup 1 wheels - described as immaculate and look good in the photos (currently fitted with Pirelli & Conti tyres). I've asked the vendor whether they are Genuine Porsche or aftermarket (Mille Miglia).

Rich

Seen the copies go for around £350 just rims to £700 with tyres. Dependant on condition and wear
I take it you mean the one's on another forum? think the are copies can't see any offset info around the valve.

Thanks Rob.
I thought they were copies too. Just waiting for the vendor to confirm.

I have cup 1 reps on the Rs but they are the rare correct sizes and offsets - 7.5 fronts, 9 rears and 55 offsets

Rich, I've just seen the wheels for sale too. They look in good nick but as you now know the initial price was based on them being originals. As they're not, they should be much cheaper.

Thanks for all the input.

I've turned the wheels down. I'd rather have originals if I went for Cup 1s on the RS. I also felt buying from Dublin, the euro-sterling conversion, and delivery was all a little too much hassle for what are really very common wheels.

Fortunately Adrian has a couple of local guys who are interested so I'm sure he'll sell them with no bother.

I think you will find Rich that original Cup 1's in 7.5 fronts and 9 rears with the 55 offset are rarer than a rare thing on a quite a rare holiday.

The previous owner of my car bought a set from Jasmine for around £1100 after refurb.

They are now on the car with a set of SO2's.

The advertised wheels were copies in 7.5 and 9 with 47 and 52 offset.

well this is good news; I was poking around my car last night, and I have 7.5/9 ET55 which is nice if they are that rare [:)]
i may know of a set of originals which are sitting collecting dust, I will check up if they are the right sizes and enquire if they are for sale and post back..
