Cup 1's Wanted...

I'm after a set of 17" Cup 1's for the RS as want to keep the Magnesiums in perfect condition and would rather not use them on the road now they are all sorted.

Anyone got a set surplus to requirements?

Looking for 7.5" x 17's and 9" x 17's or as close to original RS spec rims as possible.

Not bothered about tyres as will be fitting a new set of R888's or Pilot Sport Cups anyway.

I have a set of 18" split rim replicas that are possibly not needed anymore, fronts are 8x18 ET52, rears are 9.5x18 ET47 with a set of R888's on them. Tyres still have approx 4mm of tread depth left. Interested?

You and me both Ollie!
Same set of 18's for sale or trade - and a pair of 17x8 cups as well.
Cup 1's are getting a bit thin on the ground for some reason.

Partly.
Ride and feel is much better on the road - and I'm not racing it so any extra speed on track is offset by the greater stresses imposed on the car - besides I think they look great as there maker intended them!

Same here...

The car has sooooo much grip with the 18's on but I still have a little voice saying Porsche developed this car with 17" rims on it. At Spa in 2007 it felt fantastic in the corners and never felt like I was anywhere near its grip limits.

i have oe mags on mine at the mo,and have to agree they drive great with them, i just sold my cargrapic 18s beause of this,i weighed them before i sold them... 14.5 kg rear and 12.5 kg front, would think its the weight of your wheels also making the difference, would have been around 19 kg heavier for 4 wheels than standard

I have a pair of 7.5 fronts - see my post in the For Sale section - but no rears. Interested?
