Cup mirrors ?.

I'd like a pair of these but don't fancy being held to ransom or paying for a dodgy set, so I'm looking for something similar, Audi TT or Mini Cooper are nearly right, anyone spotted a better match ?.

I was having a look at the Mk2 Mazda MX5 mirrors which I thought were a nice shape but I'm not sure about mountings.

Maybe it's just me ... but I fitted some Cup Mirrors to my 86 Lux and whilst they look very nice ... you can see 'b00ger all' out of them compared to the original 'flag' mirrors - as I said, maybe it's just my beaten up (ex front row forward) body! However, such is their utility (sic) that I have had to set them "wide" and stick a blind spot mirror in the bottom corner of the windscreen just to get back the "view" I had before.

I was after a pair of cup mirrors for a while when I had my car but over time went off them. I think they are a bit too curvy for the 944, which is curvy but also with straight edges. I think that the mirrors of some more modern cars that still have some straight and sharp edges to them but still have a curved shape might look better, something like the ones off the Hyundai Coupe or the latest TT. But if you still want teardrop style mirrors then maybe VW Corrado mirrors might do?
