Cup wheels on standard size tyres

hi all,

As an RS owner , I'm buying a set of cup wheels (the one used in the carrera cup, 8x17 and 9.5x17). Do you think these will fit the 205 front and 255 rear (PZeroCorsa) ?

thank you

I would think OK but Melv is the Cup Car Man, however with the fatter MPCS would think spot on.....

Ideally 225s up front for more grip and 255 or 265s on the rear.

I run 225s up front with standard rears on standard cup 1s

I'm becoming a member soon and yes I have some friends there..

Can I do something for you?

My RS was originally from Italy.Delivered and first sold new by Porsche official dealer in Milano It came with a Porsche club Italia sticker on the windscreen.First owner was a company in Milano. I would love to trace it's history . Hopefully a previous owner may still be a club member. My car is a rarish colour Citrus or lemon yellow and was a colour to sample car (colour from previous model, 89 model year colour 10w i think) . In fact Thomas of H& S was convinced it was light yellow but I have had the colour confirmed by the head of customer services at the factory. So that narrows down the prospective owners a bit. I would be gratefull if you could put some info around so that I could contact the previous owners if at all poss. The original owner would have likely have been a "favoured " customer (an probably still a Porsche enthusiast today, I hope) as in those days colour to sample was not a widely known or availible option, so i am told.
