Cup Wheels

Spied some Cup wheels on Ebay but is this offset a long way from the 944 ideal (for an 88 Turbo)?

'Fronts are ET23 7 1/2 x17 and the rears are ET15 9 x 17.'

What is an acceptable range of offsets / tyre sizes and what shims might be required?

They are correct for a pre '87 944 and there's nothing you can do to fit them to a later car as they would stick out of the arches and there's no such thing as un-spacers.

Thanks Fen.

Could you (or anyone) provide an acceptable definitive range of offsets that might be suitable for 17" wheels and any shims required?

Ignore my signature i'm moving to the dark 951 side with added booooost in the very near future [:)]

For a later car you want offsets around the 50's range. Anything in the 20's is for an early car, anything high 40's or above is for a later one.

You can add a spacer compensate, so an ET55 offset with a 30mm spacer equates to an ET25 combination, but that only lets you fit late wheels to early cars.
