[FONT=arial"]Tuesday 5th December - Curling come and try (East Kilbride)[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"]Thanks to Jim Morrison who is a Curling coach we have an opportunity to come and have a go at Scotland's national sport (well almost!). We can take up to 16 people and have the ice from 5pm until 8pm (I propose a start around 5.30pm). We propose to have a bite to eat after the curling where there will be a prize for "most promising curler". There will be a small charge for the ice time (depending on the numbers involved) and apart from that all you need is a pair of trainers with clean soles. Please contact me to put your name down as soon as possible.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

yup, but we will make it from curling to the club night in plenty time to hear mike b's drunken ramblings [;)]

Whit !!!! Slanderous chat here Grieg , I talk pish not ramblings when intoxicated, can't remember being drunk at the Sherbrooke yet so must have been sober utter crap I was talking, please be accurate when assessing my verbage.

Grieg unless Tuesday is the only time suitable for Jim Morrison would it not be more sensible to have the Curling on an evening other than a Tuesday meeting night? You will be lucky to be back at the Sherbrooke at all and anyone going to Sherbrooke who is not on this forum will wonder where we all are. Why not move curling into an evening in Jan/Feb and go for a Curry afterwards Anyone else have an opinion?
