Current market for 968's ?

...wondering, what, if any, current market's are there for 968's ?

I have two, and I need to sell. One is very good, the other, reasonable, and priced that way. Both original UK cars (though I'm in RoI ), one is Tip, and one is manual, and both with big histories (mostly Hartech)

I'm looking for the best channel - where do people look, to sell, these days ? I can deliver them to UK anyway, as I'm back-and-forth a lot of the time - I can just drive them over.

I would dearly love to keep one, but annual road tax here for a 968 is €1290 per year, so my days of driving them are coming to an end.

I would trade or p/ex a motorbike against one/both.

Any ideas appreciated - I've even considered breaking one, after one request for some bits, a while ago........

Most are advertised on Pistonheads, you'll get an idea of what people are selling for there. Bear in mind that asking prices can be optimistic; it's a buyer's market at the moment for obvious reasons, but often people think their cars are worth what they were a few years ago.

Hi,

I considered one of yours a while back when I was looking. The big problem for me was the location. If it was in the uk for viewing it would have been a big help. It must be a fairly captive market where you are and buyers will have similar problems with tax costs.

Hi all, well an offer was made by a breaker's in the UK for one of mine, so one way or the other, the car is going to the UK at the end of the month.

Jetbox, I don't think location need be the obstacle you may think - look at it this way - I went to the UK - twice ! - to buy them !! If you're serious, I'm sure we could come to an arrangement.

So, if someone wants either 1 good car, or 1 project car, speak up now, before it's too late !
