D151FDH Red 924s

This is a long shot, but does anyone know the whereabouts of D151FDH a guards red 924S? I owned the car for a number of years, but my wife made me sell it to make way for another Porsche 😢 now the wife has gone I have no numer restriction 😄. I sold it to a gentleman in Lancashire who I believe sold it to a chef in the Lakes, and indeed I did see it near Windermere. If anyone has any information I will be grateful.

Hello Peter

Yes, the car appears on the Register from 2005 to 2008 in the Greater Manchester area but no sign of it after that.
With his permission I could find out what he knows and let you know.

DVLA say it was last taxed on 1/12/2009 and is currently unregistered.

Well,I am following in your footsteps ,Peter,in a sort of way--fitted Spax lower springs at the front-lowered the rear eccentrics ,& about to go a little lower ,now I've got the right spanner-fitted a front 944 Turbo 27mm antiroll bar-just got a rear 944 Turbo bar to be fitted shortly-cone filter on the engine(came with it) but now with cold air supply pipe-fitted 924 Turbo wheels (which I've had refurbished) & Toyo lookalike remoulds ,slightly lower profile.

Would love to but am in middle of tiling our bathroom after fitting a new shower cabinet,basin & bath,so under the cosh to finish it(so I can go to Chateau Impney, Oulton Gold cup later in the month.

Colin, I am just doing Harewood till the end of the season now, this weekend, bank holiday then the big 50th celebrations of hillclimbing a at Harewood at the end of September. That should be a very good weekend, lots to see and do. Let's hope it stays dry tomorrow, I'd like one dry run this year.
