DAB antenna

Hi everyone,

Recently bought my first Porsche (a black 1988 944S), so please excuse the newbie questions, but the next item on my list of jobs to be done is a new stereo.
I'm thinking about a DAB unit, and wondered if the in-glass aerial in my 944S will be compatible, since I've seen lots of DAB-specific aerials for sale.
Does anyone have any experience of using a DAB unit in a 944(S), with the in-glass antenna?

No chance, totally different. Even one manufacturer's DAB antenna won't wprk with another's receiver.

There is a gap in the reinforcing behind the sunroof to put an antenna (like a 968 has) which is where my DAB one is but I have also used a glass mount DAB antenna on another car and it was good.
 
Hi,

The windscreen aerials are rubbish I am in the process of fitting a bee sting aerial on the roof so that my normal radio works properly and its not even DAB
