Daily driving in the S2...

I have to say that the S2 seems to be responding really well to daily use & seems to drive better & better as the days go by! Everything seems to be loosening up nicely & the engine feels much smoother & more responsive. Just the 'farty' exhaust letting things down at the moment! (next on the list of things to sort).

Since my last post I've given her a good polish & removed a few scratches & marks, so she now looks a little more like the supercar she used to be.

Cheers,
Robbo

Good to hear, motivates me a bit more to get my lacquer peel sorted out and give the car a good spring polish! [:D]

Yep if you want a car that you have to stick in a tent in your garage,to only to take out once a week for 6 months a year then buy a Ferrari. If you want something to use everyday a Porker is the way to go

I drove my S2 130,000 miles over 11 years!

Now in semi-retirement and soon to be available for sale.

I've always felt my daily driven car feels even better after a track day, it really seems to blow away the cobwebs! Another good excuse to get it on track too [;)]

I do recall a nice (possibly apocrephal) story about a life-long Ferrari enthusiast who decided he would try a Porsche 911.

So he went down to his local OPC and asked to look at some second-hand 911's. And as the salesman was showing him the cars, he was amazed at the mileage - 30,000 miles, 40,000 even 50,000 miles!

So he turned to the salesman and said "Hang about - these prices, for cars that have done this many miles? Surely not! In the world of Ferrari's these would be worn out! Have they any life left in them at all?"

And the salesman replied "Oh no sir, those cars are for looking at sir .... these cars are for driving sir!"

Not sure if it is true or not, but the idea of driving your S2 to make it run better most certainly is true!
