I hope to get in touch with Shauna shortly to arrange some golf at Dalmahoy. Probably best for a Saturday or Sunday since the nights are fair drawing in!

Hi Alison

I will be there and thanks for the offer to drive [:D]

Not been feeling 100% this week so can't promise any dancing on tables, but I shall see what I can do [8D]

Excellent

I called Dakota this afternoon and they already had our reservation pencilled in.
I have confirmed 10 diners and god knows how many hanger-on-ers.

See you all later.

Please note, that I am DRIVING and not having any vino tonight so there will be no drunken carry ons.

That'll be a first![]

I'm sure Jane will make up for it though. I won't be eating tonight, been out for lunch and am stuffed but will be there about 8pm anyway.

(You're getting good at this organising!!!!!!! Thumbs!!!!!!!!!)

Hope you ended up having a better evening than me. [&:]

There was a sudden roaring noise in the house about 9:00pm, which was water gushing from an overflow pipe onto the kitchen roof. I tracked it down to a broken ball valve arm in the central heating header tank, in the loft. Not that difficult, except some moron had intsalled it in a space that a double jointed chimpanzee would struggle to get at. AAARGH []

Temp fix carried out, but just as well as wasn't at the Dakota after all

Phew!

Well Malher's 3rd was amazing. Recommend you hear it in Glasgow or Edinburgh as it is very good!

Dammit ... missed the annual "past Tesco's" outing of the TVR. [:D]

About to head back up into the loft with my Boys Own book of "Teach Yourself Plumbing" to fix the pesky cistern []

You missed a good night on Thursday John. But in light of your Plumbing
Problems, it was maybe just as well [;)]

Cheers Al
