Well after a great job of getting the part and fixing the car (see 'Car won't start' post), I get it home and notice damage to the passenger door interior []

See pic ....

Easy to do getting the seat in and out...

They really should know this and be careful...[&o]

Yes - Complain!

<Edit for spelling (seat, not set...[8|])>

Why are you asking? Of course. It's completely unacceptable. I expect you paid them plenty over the standard price to get it fixed seeing as it's a Porsche. Why do you think you should just accept someone damging your car?

Might be a little strong but had my car seriously damaged when being fixed by a so called Porsche specialist - Solus in West London.

I would even if you did not pay for the car to be fixed they should still be carefull, everytime you get in the car that will annoy you, would me anyway.

No shadow of a doubt - COMPLAIN.
You definitely don't have to accept the fact that they've damaged your car.

Good luck with it.

Yes do it now the longer you leave it the less chance you have of them fixing the problem, Talk to them dont rant and rave chances are that they dont know its damaged, some young spanner monkey will have damaged it and said nothing.

Of course you should complain. My car came back with a chipped windscreen, the idiot who test drove it after replacing the clutch obviously tail-gated the car in front. I'm kicking myself for not complaining.

Hi All,

Yes I did complain, and at first the comment came back "we noticed this before starting the work", I did challenge this and strange enough I had the an email whilst away this weekend stating that they would pay for the repair.

The reason I asked, because a breakdown recovery company had been involved and I wasn't to sure as you can get into those arguments of well it wasn't me !!

Anyway, thanks for the feedback, as it will be rectified.
