Damaged wheels at a Preston tyre depot

I had wife's tyres replaced on her BMW a while back and when I got the car home, she did her usual inspection to see if they had caused any damage. She found that 3 of the four wheels were indeed damaged the young fitters. I should have check before I left the garage but as usual I was in a hurry.
I took the car back the following day and the manager agreed that they may have caused the damage to two of them but would not commit to the third. Mmmm I was not happy as I had used them many times before and recommended them to all you guys on this site before. A friend of mine had also had problems with the same company a couple of years ago.
After weeks and weeks of the manager promising to get them repaired at my convenience (even saying he lost my phone number at one time) I gave up on him and contacted the company head office. They appeared to be sympathetic and would contact the depot manager to see what he had to say. He spun them some yarn, but in the end the head office agreed to pay for the repairs of all three wheels. Phew!
I have had them done at WRC in Bamber Bridge (01772 627600) and they have done an excellent job matching the fourth wheel perfectly. They actually advertised in Porsche Post a couple of issues ago. I saw the work they do and it is very impressive. They actually had in a Ferrari 599 (2 years old) and were changing the colour of the wheels because the owner didn't like the original bright shiny ones!!!
Needless to say that I will not be using the tyre supplier in Preston again. If you want their name "" pm me and I will let you know. The forum rules prevent me from naming and shaming here.
